Indiana Landmarks has committed $200,000

A Major Milestone for the Mineral Springs Hotel

On September 12, 2026 at the 66th Annual Meeting of Indiana Landmarks, the restoration of the Mineral Springs Hotel was highlighted as Indiana Landmarks announced a $200,000 commitment to our project.

This is an extraordinary investment. In fact, it is the largest single-project investment Indiana Landmarks has made in its history.

This commitment brings our capital campaign to $300,000 in confirmed, committed funding. It is a tremendous step forward in our efforts to restore the Mineral Springs Hotel and bring this historic landmark back to life in the heart of Paoli.

We are deeply grateful to Indiana Landmarks for believing in this project and making such a significant investment in the future of Paoli. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this effort along the way. Every donation, conversation, share, prayer, and word of encouragement has helped us reach this point.

Taking the Time to Do It Right

As exciting as this milestone is, there is still important work to be done before construction can begin.

We are currently working to finalize the plans for the masonry restoration and roof. We are hopeful to have those final plans completed in October.

We know many people are eager to see construction begin, and we are eager to see it happen too. But we are asking for a little more time to make sure these plans are done properly. We want to approach its restoration with the care and attention it deserves.

We are incredibly excited about where this project is headed. What once seemed like a distant possibility is becoming more and more tangible—and this $200,000 commitment from Indiana Landmarks is a major part of that progress.

Thank you for believing in the Mineral Springs Hotel and in the future of Paoli. We’re just getting started.
